Earns Award for the First Time
LANCASTER, Pa. – Freshman forward Erin O'Reilly (Northborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer for the week ending September 16th by the conference office.
O'Reilly had five points on two goals and one assist and factored in on both game-winning goals for the Shorewomen in a 2-0-0 week as the team is 4-0-0 for the first time in program history. On Saturday at Gettysburg in the team's first-ever win over the Bullets, 3-2, she scored the game-winning goal with 7:11 remaining in the match. On Wednesday at Hood in a 2-1 win, she scored the match-tying goal and had an assist on the winning score in the 81st minute.
This is the first time she has won the conference's weekly award on offense and the first time a WC player has won the offensive player of the week award since senior Olivia Sabatino won the award on September 5, 2017.
