Garners Weekly Award For The First Time

LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior forward Olivia Sabatino (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollows Hills West) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer for the week ending September 4th by the conference office.

Sabatino scored the game-winning goal and notched a second goal for a two-goal performance in the Shorewomen's 4-0 season opening win over Wesley on Friday night. She opened the scoring with a goal in the 34th minute and notched her second score on the team's third goal in the 71st minute to give Washington a 3-0 cushion.

This is the first time she has won the conference's weekly award and the first time a WC player has won the award since her twin sister Arianna Sabatino won the award on September 6, 2016.
