Baughman Named to All-Sportsmanship Team
LANCASTER, Pa. — Washington College sophomore forward Arianna Sabatino (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollows Hills West) has been named an All-Centennial Conference honorable mention in a vote conducted by the conference's 10 head women's soccer coaches. The Centennial Conference also announced its All-Sportsmanship Team for women's soccer today and freshman midfielder Tatiana Baughman (Worton, Md./Gunston School) was the Shorewomen's representative on that team.
Sabatino scored a team-high seven goals on a team-best 26 shots (19 of them on goal) this season. She also had one assist to finish with 15 total points, second-best on the team. Sabatino was the first Shorewoman in 12 years to score seven or more goals in a single season. The last to do it was Laura Mozzer '06 when she found the back of the net seven times during the 2004 season.
Each Centennial Conference member institution was permitted to nominate one student-athlete who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship for the All-Sportsmanship Team. Nominations were submitted by the head coaches.
