Wins Award For The First Time
LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore goalkeeper Melissa Barry (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 8-14 by the conference office. This is the first time she won the Centennial's weekly award.
Barry made four saves and recorded her seventh career shutout in the team's 3-0 win over Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday afternoon. The sophomore saved three shots in the second half, including two stops when WC was holding on to a one-goal lead. She is tied for the program's all-time record in blankings with seven.
