LANCASTER, PA -- Five members of the Washington College women's soccer team have earned spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for fall sports.
To be named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior; a starter or key reserve on her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. A key reserve is defined as a reserve who appeared in at least 50% of her team's contests and/or played in the Centennial Conference Tournament.
Senior defender Gabby Antalffy (Baltimore, MD/Sparrows Point) landed on the Academic Honor Roll for the third year in a row. Junior midfielders Kathleen Maleski (Mt. Airy, MD/South Carroll) and Brittany Weaver (Williamsport, MD/Williamsport) each earned the distinction for the second year in a row. Junior midfielder/forward Heather Smith (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie) and sophomore defender Kelley Holocker (Centreville, MD/Queen Anne's County) each received the honor for the first time.
Antalffy is majoring in Human Development, Maleski in Physics, Weaver in Political Science, Smith in Biology, and Holocker in Math.
