CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The 13th-ranked Washington College women's rowing team's second varsity eight has been named the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Women's Crew of the Week for the week ending April 7th.
The Shorewomen competed in a pair of regattas at Lake Quinsigamond this past weekend. On Saturday, the Shorewomen's second varsity eight won its race by nearly 16 seconds, finishing ahead of Clark, Connecticut College, Division II Assumption, and Johnson & Wales. The following day, the Shorewomen's second varsity eight placed second in its heat behind only third-ranked WPI and then took third in the grand final behind WPI and 12th-ranked Hamilton.
The Shorewomen's second varsity eight this past weekend consisted of: Emily Booth (coxswain), Agnes Anderson (stroke), Annie Krysztofiak (seven), Analiese Bush (six), Tegan McBride (five), Ana Gansz (four), Kitri Post (three), Julia Kuchnio (two), and Emily Van Driel (bow).
