• Reynolds, Robb Named All-Americans

    Washington College rower Erika Reynolds and coxswain Olivia Robb have been named 2019 College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Division III All-Americans. Reynolds was named to the first team while Robb, now a two-time All-American, was named to the second team. Both were juniors this past academic year. This is the first time in 16 years that the Washington College women’s rowing team has had multiple All-America selections in the same season.

    The first varsity eight executed an impressive race to win its petite final as the Washington College women’s rowing team finished eighth of eight teams overall at the NCAA Division III Championship held at the Indianapolis Rowing Center on Eagle Creek Reservoir yesterday and today.

  • Full Selections, Heat Assignments Announced for NCAA Division III Rowing Championship

    The Washington College women's rowing team punched its ticket to its seventh consecutive NCAA Division III Championship when the Shorewomen won their seventh consecutive Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championship back on April 27th. The Shorewomen now know their full field of competitors and heat assignments at the event as the NCAA held its selection show for the championship Tuesday night.
  • Shorewomen's Second Varsity Eight Places Second in Division III Race at Dad Vail

    The Washington College women’s rowing competed at the Dad Vail Regatta yesterday and today on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia in the Shorewomen’s final competition before the NCAA Division III Championship. The Shorewomen’s second varsity eight finished second in the Division III varsity heavyweight eight, while the Shorewomen’s first varsity eight competed against crews from all three NCAA Divisions in the open varsity heavyweight eight.

    The coxswain and eight rowers of the women's rowing team's first varsity eight share this week's Shorewoman of the Week honor. The first varsity eight won its event to clinch the Shorewomen's seventh consecutive Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championship Saturday.

    The Washington College Athletics Department held its annual athletic awards ceremony tonight, honoring the top student-athletes for the 2018-19 academic year.  Team Most Valuable Players and Most Improved Players were named, and several special departmental awards were presented as well.
  • Shorewomen Win Seventh Straight MARC Championship

    The Washington College women’s rowing team won both the first and second varsity eights at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championships to claim its seventh consecutive Mid-MARC Championship and seventh consecutive NCAA Division III Championship appearance today at Gifford Pinchot State Park.

  • #13 Shorewomen Place Third, Fourth at WPI's Regatta

    The 13th-ranked Washington College women’s rowing team competed in an eight-team regatta on Lake Quinsigamond this morning. The other teams at the regatta included two other nationally-ranked teams in third-ranked host WPI and 12th-ranked Hamilton; the Shorewomen finished third behind those two schools in the grand final of the second varsity eight and placed fourth in the grand final of the first varsity eight. 
  • #13 Shorewomen Sweep Pair of Races in Massachusetts

    The 13th-ranked Washington College women’s rowing team won both of its races in a regatta hosted by Clark University on Lake Quinsigamond this morning. The regatta also featured Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) rival Johnson & Wales, Connecticut College, and Division II Assumption College.

The Shorewomen’s first varsity eight competed “up,” racing in the Division I varsity eight and advanced to the petite final, while the second varsity eight won the Division II/III varsity eight.
