    Five members of the Washington College women's rowing team have been named to the ECAC National Invitational Rowing Championships Stewards' All Academic Team.

    Washington College head women's rowing coach Dr. Mike Davenport has been named the National Coach of the Year for Division III by the College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA). It is the first time Davenport, who recently finished his 23rd season as the Shorewomen's head coach, has been recognized with the award.

    The schedule for the second day of the NCAA Rowing Championships has changed. Washington College's second varsity eight's race in the petite final will now start at 7:00 a.m. The first varsity eight will race in its grand final at 7:30 a.m.
  • First Varsity Eight Takes Fifth at NCAA Championships, Team Finishes Sixth Overall

    The eighth-ranked Washington College women's rowing team finished in sixth place overall at the NCAA Division III Championships, held yesterday and today at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis. The Shorewomen's first varsity eight placed fifth of eight boats, while the Shorewomen's second varsity eight was sixth of six boats.
