Eight Shorewomen Qualify for Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. — Eight student-athletes from the Washington College softball team have been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for spring sports. 

In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average through the Fall 2018 semester.

Seniors Maddie Bennett (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) and Kerrigan Buck (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) qualified for the Academic Honor Roll for the third year in a row. Juniors Jenna Gordon (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) and Leah Stokes (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton) are two-time qualifiers. Sophomores Caroline Braungard (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg), Amelia Mazza (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East), Grace Moery (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac), and Brittany Walker (Jefferson, Md./Brunswick) are first-time qualifiers. 

Bennett is majoring in both International Studies and Hispanic Studies. Stokes and Walker are both Biology majors. Braungard is majoring in Chemistry, Buck in Environmental Science, Gordon in Psychology, Mazza in Business Management, and Moery in International Studies.
