Gurnell & Kelly Finish Third in A Division

PERTH AMBOY, N.J. — The Washington College sailing team finished eighth of 11 teams at the Princeton Fall Open this weekend.

Washington College Highlights
- Skipper Stewart Gurnell and crew Jon Kelly were third in A Division. They finished second in races 1A, 2A, and 4A. After skippering WC to fourth- and first-place finishes in B Division in his first two collegiate regattas, this was Gurnell's first time sailing in A Division.
- Skipper Jack Mecca and crew Andrew Tran were eighth in B Division. Their top race finish was sixth in race 4B.

Notes
- Princeton won the regatta, followed by Stony Brook in second and William & Mary in third.
- Six races in each division sailed on Saturday. Two more races in each division sailed on Sunday.
