Washington College Sailing 6th in Washington College Team Race

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The Washington College sailing team finished sixth of six teams as the host school of the Washington College Team Race today on the Chester River. All three round robins were able to be completed in one day thanks to breezy conditions all day.

Washington College Highlights
- Washington finished with a 0-15 head-to-head race record. George Washington won the regatta with a 12-3 record, followed by the first of two Fordham squads and Navy, both of which finished with 10-5 marks. Fordham "1" took second place by winning two of three head-to-head races with Navy. The University of Pennsylvania was fourth at 7-8, followed by Fordham "2" at 6-9.
- Andrew Vernon, Paul Hart, and Henry Proud served as skippers for Washington. Jack Mecca, Lindsay Fullerton, and Ellie Lienert were the crews. 

Notes
- This was the second and final of two home team race regattas for Washington College this spring. Both were able to be completed in one day.
