    Washington College head sailing coach Conner Blouin, a 2010 graduate of the school, qualified for the 2015 Pan American Games by finishing second at the 2015 Sunfish US National Championship at Midwinters held Friday through Sunday at Melbourne Yacht Club in Melbourne, Fla. As the highest finishing American at the event, Blouin secured the country's lone qualifying spot in Sunfish Class for the Pan Am Games.

    The 2013-14 Washington College sailing team exceeded tempered expectations. First-year head coach Conner Blouin '10 took over the reins of a program with no seniors in early September - a program which had missed out on qualifying for the ICSA/Gill Co-Ed National Championship first round for the first time since 2007. By spring, Blouin had the team right back where it belonged.
