Eisenmagen Wins Consolation Singles Match

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Washington College freshman men's tennis players Paul Eisenmagen and Landon Strober competed at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships, hosted by Mary Washington, yesterday and today. Eisenmagen picked up a singles win in a consolation match.   

ITA Southeast Regional Championships

- Eisenmagen and Strober lost in the first round of Championship Draw doubles, 8-4, to Mary Washington's Jacob Quijano and Andrew Watson.
- In their consolation match, they defeated Mike Ellis and Christopher Madenitz of Wilkes, 8-5. In the consolation quarterfinals, they lost to Washington and Lee's Julian Hadad and Mitchell Thomas, 8-6.  

- Strober competed in Championship Draw singles and fell to Bridgewater's Canon Secord, 6-1, 3-6, 6-0, in the first round.
- In Strober's consolation match, he lost to Muhlenberg's Benedict Kohler, 6-0, 6-2.
- Eisenmagen lost to Goucher's Mike Herman, 7-6(6), 6-3, in the first round of B2 Draw singles.
- In his consolation match, Eisenmagen defeated Eloi Pradier of Stevens, 6-1, 6-1.
