Sandler & Salisbury Compete at ITA Southeast Regionals

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Seniors Chris Salisbury and Jake Sandler represented the Washington College men's tennis team at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships, hosted by Mary Washington, Friday. The pair advanced to the second round of Championship Doubles, while Sandler also made the quarterfinals of Flight A Singles.

ITA Southeast Regionals

Doubles
- Salisbury and Sandler won their first-round match in Championship Doubles, defeating Matthew Moody and Michael Moody of Hampden-Sydney, 8-4. They then lost in the second round, 8-1 to Austin Gu and Joseph Cartledge of Johns Hopkins.

Singles
- In Flight A Singles, Sandler posted a 7-6(5), 6-1, win over Michael Moody in the first round. In the quarterfinals, he lost to Mary Washington's Priyan Desilva, 4-6, 6-3, 3-0 (retired).
- Salisbury lost to Swarthmore's Thibault Vernier in the first round of Championship Singles, 7-6(5), 3-6, 6-0.
