Shoremen Will Travel to F&M for Centennial Tournament Match Tuesday

LANCASTER, Pa. — Host Franklin & Marshall swept visiting Washington College, 9-0, in the men's tennis regular-season finale for both schools today. With the win, the Diplomats earned hosting rights for Tuesday's Centennial Conference Tournament first round match - which will be a rematch against the Shoremen.

Franklin & Marshall 9, Washington College 0

Doubles
- Sam Bellersen and Jack Rothman topped Justin Panepinto and Luke Weaver, 8-5, at No. 1.
- Zack Levin and Isaac Salas bested Koby Bonta and Andrew Smith, 8-3, at No. 2.
- Andrew Pace and Will Samuels defeated Jake Sandler and August Meriot, 9-7, at No. 3.  

Singles
- Rothman beat Sandler, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 1, Salas topped Weaver, 6-1, 7-5, at No. 2, and Levin got the better of Bonta, 6-4, 6-0, at No. 3.
- Bellersen downed Meriot, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 4, Samuels rallied past Panepinto, 2-6, 6-1, 10-6 at No. 5, and Pace downed John Niswander, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 6.

Notes
- The Diplomats improved to 9-8 and 6-3 in conference matches with the win, while the Shoremen fell to 7-9 and 5-4 with the loss.
