Shoremen Shut Out Seahawks, 9-0, for Second Win

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Host Washington College blanked visiting St. Mary's College of Maryland, 9-0, in a non-conference men's tennis match today inside the Johnson Fitness Center.

- Chris Salisbury and Jake Sandler were 8-3 winners against Jon Gorel and Connor McKissick at No. 1.
- Justin Panepinto and Zack Novick followed with an 8-3 win over Ethan Garren and James Loftis at No. 2.
- Jeremy Novick and Luke Weaver completed the doubles sweep for the Shoremen with an 8-1 victory against Kyle Van Winter and Ronald Stith at No. 3.

- Salisbury downed Gorel, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 1, while Sandler was a 6-3, 6-1, winner over Garren at No. 2.
- Zack Novick breezed past Connor McKissick, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3 before Weaver bested Loftis, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 4.
- Jeremy Novick added an 8-1 win against Stith at No. 5, while August Meriot closed things out with an 8-6 win at No. 6 against Zach Talamonti

- The Shoremen, ranked 20th in the Atlantic South region, improved to 2-0 with the win. The Seahawks fell to 3-3 with the loss.
