Second Varsity Eight - Shorewoman of the Week

The coxswain and eight rowers from the women's rowing team's second varsity eight share this week's Shorewoman of the Week honor. The second varsity eight won the Division II/III varsity eight at the Murphy Cup on Saturday.

With the Shorewomen's first varsity eight competing up in the Division I varsity eight, the second varsity eight raced against one Division II second varsity eight, two Division III first varsity eights, and one Division III second vartsity eight - and beat them all. The Shorewomen's winning time was 7:55.70, edging out Division II Thomas Jefferson's second varsity eight by eight one-hundredths of a second.

The Shorewomen's second varsity eight consisted of senior coxswain Emily Booth (Camden, Del./Caesar Rodney) and the following rowers, from stroke to bow: freshman Caroline Jackson (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck), sophomore Annie Krysztofiak (Paoli, Pa./Delaware Valley Friends School), freshman MB Spargo (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty), freshman Tegan McBride (Waterbury, Conn./Westover School), freshman Analiese Bush (Media, Pa./Penncrest), sophomore Agnes Anderson (Ulster Park, N.Y./Kingston), freshman Ana Gansz (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown Community), and freshman Kitri Post (Savnnah, Ga./Savannah Christian Prep)
