The coxswain and eight rowers of the women's rowing team's first varsity eight share this week's Shorewoman of the Week honor after a first-place showing at Saturday's Kerr Cup.
The Shorewomen's first varsity eight won the women's Division III varsity eight at the Kerr Cup by a comfortable margin, finishing in 7:41.21. Franklin & Marshall's first varsity eight was second in 7:58.91. The Shorewomen's top boat is undefeated against Division III crews this spring.
Sophomore Olivia Robb (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) was the boat's coxswain on Saturday. Senior Jules Shipps (Wye Mills, Md./Gunston School) sat stroke, sophomore Erika Reynolds (Finskburg, Md./Notre Dame Prep) was in the seven seat, freshman Gabrielle Francis (Laurelton, N.Y./Jamaica Gateway to the Sciences) was in the six seat, senior Kerri Walsh (Crestwood, N.Y./Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel) was in the five seat, junior Kelin McCloskey (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) was in the four seat, sophomore Breanna Lanphear (Nottingham, Md./Perry Hall) was in the three seat, junior Karis Marano (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) was in the two seat, and junior Leslie Collins (Newark, Del./Ursuline Academy) was the bow.
