Junior men's soccer player James Strine (Hockessin, Del./Salesianum School) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Strine tallied one goal and one assist during the final week of the season with the Shoremen's highest single-season point total since 2002.
Strine scored the Shoremen's goal in a 2-1 loss to Swarthmore Wednesday and assisted on their goal in a 2-1 loss to Muhlenberg Saturday. He finished the season with eight goals and 12 assists for 28 total points, the most since Dave Dudick tallied 29 on 12 goals and five assists in 2002. Strine's 12 assists this season were also just one shy of the single-season school record.
This is Strine's third career Shoreman of the Week honor.
