Mules Buck Shorewomen in Three Sets
Brown Tallies 15 Digs in Loss

ALLENTOWN, PA -- Host Muhlenberg College swept visiting Washington College, 25-15, 25-14, 25-16, in a Centennial Conference volleyball match tonight in Memorial Hall. The Mules improved to 13-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play with the win, while the Shorewomen fell to 11-12 and 0-4 with the loss.

Brittany Williams had eight kills and 12 digs for the Mules, while Phylicia Lee led all players with nine kills. Davi Gordon added 10 digs, two block solos, six block assists, and four kills, while Megan Eiser tallied 27 assists, nine digs, and five block assists. Eiser surpassed both the 2,000 career assist mark and 900 career dig mark in the win.

Senior libero Arielle Brown (Merion, PA/Lower Merion) recorded a match-high 15 digs for Washington in the loss, while freshman outside hitter Alyssa Forget (River Vale, NJ/Pascack Valley) led the Shorewomen with eight kills. Junior setter Caitlin Ward (Wantagh, NY/Holy Trinity) added 23 assists and seven digs.

Muhlenberg hit .204 for the match and recorded 11 total blocks.

The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Ursinus.
