21, 2004 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- The Washington College women's tennis team closed out its 2004 dual match schedule with a 7-2 home loss to Salisbury this afternoon at Schottland Tennis Center. The Shorewomen finish the season with an 8-9 overall record in dual match play. Seniors Ne'ko Browder (Bronx, NY/Herbert H. Lehman) and Shoko Nakamura (Osaka, Japan/Osaka Jogakuin), ranked fourth in the region in doubles play, defeated Sam Coldren and Erika Mitry, tied for eighth in the region, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles. Browder went unbeaten in the final home match of her collegiate career, as she also won at No. 1 singles. Browder, ranked sixth in the region, topped Coldren, ranked 12th, 6-0, 6-3. The Shorewomen will compete at the Centennial Conference Singles & Doubles Tournament .
