| October 15, 2007 CHESTERTOWN, MD - Washington College women's swimming alumnus and All-American Danielle Sullivan '98 recently finished 23rd among professional women at the 2007 Ironman Championships in Kailua-Kona, HI. Meanwhile, former teammate Erin Miller '00 finished 79th in her age group in the 2007 Chicago Marathon. Sullivan completed the Ironman in a total of 10:00:25. She completed the 2.4-mile swim in 1:02:59, the 112-mile bike ride in 5:28:51, and the 26.2-mile run in 3:22:09. Overall, she placed 320th. Miller completed the Chicago Marathon in 3:45:49. She finished 2,128th overall out of over 24,000 finishers. She was also 441st among all women. |
