Shorewomen 2nd at Orange Bowl Classic

KEY LARGO, FL -- The Washington College women's swim team finished second at the 2006 Orange Bowl Swimming Classic in Key Largo, FL. The Shorewomen, who were a late addition to the meet, are in the midst of their annual winter training trip to Florida.

Northeastern won the event with 613 points. Washington was second with 482, while George Mason finished third with 467 points and St. Louis was fourth with 220.

The sprint-style competition, held at Key Largo's Jacobs Aquatics Center, featured 24 different swimming events.

The Shorewomen return to action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Bryn Mawr against Randolph-Macon and Bryn Mawr.
