Simons, Klag Record "B Cuts" at Widener
Shorewomen Post 107-88 Victory

CHESTER, PA - Freshman Ally Simons (Camp Hill, PA/Cumberland Valley) and senior Margaret Klag (Silver Spring, MD/Sherwood) each swam an NCAA "B Cut" time to headline a 107-88 victory for visiting Washington College over host Widener University in non-conference women's swimming action this evening in Chester, PA.

Simons' "B Cut" time came in the 200 butterfly as she swam a 2:11.96 to take first place in the event. Klag recorded her NCAA "B Cut" time in the 200 breaststroke in 2:26.00. That time is her fastest ever in a dual meet in her four-year collegiate career. Klag also swam a lifetime-best time of 55.94 in the 100 freestyle to become the Shorewomen's fourth-fastest swimmer ever in that event. Klag won both the 200 breaststroke and 100 freestyle.
