Aggies Agitate Shorewomen, 5-1
Snyder Scores First Collegiate Goal

DOYLESTOWN, PA -- Host Delaware Valley College scored three first-half goals en route to a 5-1 victory over visiting Washington College in a non-conference women's soccer game this afternoon in Doylestown, PA. The Aggies improved to 5-6 with the win, while the Shorewomen fell to 0-10 with the loss.

Elise Dauber scored the Aggies' first two goals at 4:02 and 21:37, respectively. Her second goal came off an assist from Nicki Martini. Delaware Valley took a 3-0 lead when Samantha Loeber found Jessica Stahley for a goal at 25:00. Freshman midfielder Allie Snyder (Hagerstown, MD/North Hagerstown) scored her first career collegiate goal for the Shorewomen at the 42:47 mark to trim the lead to 3-1 before the half.

Dauber completed a hat trick with a goal off an assist from Melissa Greco to open the second-half scoring at 48:00. Dauber and Stahley assisted on the final goal of the game, scored by Brittany Shubra at 55:23.

Cortney Bower made five saves in goal for the Aggies. Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Grier (Kennett Square, PA/Sanford School, DE) played the first half for the Shorewomen, making two saves and allowing three goals. Senior Megan Russell (Federalsburg, MD/Seaford Christian, DE) played the second half in goal, making four saves and allowing two goals.

Delaware Valley held a 20-10 advantage in shots in the game and a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.

The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. home game against Goucher.
