Blankenship Named Interim Head
Women's Soccer and Lacrosse Coach
Washington College Athletic Director Dr. Bryan Matthews has announced the hiring of Julika Blankenship as the school's interim head women's soccer and women's lacrosse coach. Blankenship, who has a strong background in both sports, is a familiar face in the Washington College Athletic Department, having served as an assistant women's lacrosse coach for each of the past three seasons.

Russell Named to All-CC Sportsmanship Team
Four Washington College student-athletes have been named to the All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team for fall sports. Each Centennial Conference member institution was permitted to nominate one student from each fall program who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship. Nominations were submitted by the athletic departments or head coaches. This is the first year of the All-Centennial Sportsmanship team, which was proposed by the conference's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Senior Megan Russell (Federalsburg, MD/Seaford Christian, DE) represented Washington's women's soccer team.
