Shorewomen Row at Head of the Charles
Washington Places 22nd in Women's Collegiate Four

BOSTON, MA -- The Washington College women's rowing team finished 22nd of 29 boats in the women's collegiate four today at the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston. The Shorewomen completed the race in 21:18.787.

Sophomore Kelsie Jensen (Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest) was the Shorewomen's coxswain. Senior Ericka Malow (Brunswick, OH/Brunswick) sat stroke, freshman Kate Fiori (Boston, MA/Dana Hall School) was in the three seat, senior Amy Smith (Phoenixville, PA/Phoenixville) was in the two seat, and junior Christine Lynch (Lincoln University, PA/Avon Grove) was the bow.

Trinity (CT) won the race by nearly 26 seconds, finishing in 19:15.668. Dowling was second in 19:41.527.

The Shorewomen return to action one week from today at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia.
