O'Donnell Finishes 2nd in Nation in 3-Pointers
Sophomore Averaged 3.32 Treys Per Game

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Washington College sophomore guard Jane O'Donnell (Cape May Court House, NJ/Wildwood Catholic) finished second among all NCAA Division III women's basketball players in three-pointers made per game for the 2007-08 season according to the final statistical leaders released today by the NCAA. There are 409 Division III women's basketball teams.

O'Donnell made 83 three-pointers in 25 games for an average of 3.32. The Shorewomen's leading scorer, she poured in 15.0 points per game this season and made at least one three-pointer in all but one of Washington's games this season. She netted at least four three pointers in 10 different games, including a 7-for-13 performance against Johns Hopkins and a 6-for-7 night against Ursinus.

Kean's Melissa Beyrutti led Division III with 108 three-pointers in 32 games, an average of 3.375.
