Unbeaten Lebanon Valley Drops WC, 68-46
Slizofski Tallies Double-Double in Loss

ANNVILLE, PA – Host Lebanon Valley College raced out to a 41-17 halftime lead en route to a 68-46 non-conference women's basketball victory over visiting Washington College tonight in Annville, PA. The Flying Dutchmen remained unbeaten in posting their 12th win of the season, while the Shorewomen fell to 5-6 with the loss.

Lebanon Valley scored the final 12 points of the first half to build its 24-point halftime lead. Washington opened the second half on a 20-9 run, cutting the lead to 50-37 on a basket by freshman forward Nicole Wojtusik (Washington Boro, PA/Penn Manor) with 10:30 remaining, but the Dutchmen scored the next six points to quell the rally as a jumper by Shelly Lobach with 8:34 to play pushed the advantage to 56-37. Lebanon Valley led by at least 17 points the rest of the way.

Eryn Schultz paced the Flying Dutchmen with 18 points and five rebounds. Schultz shot 8-of-11 from the field in the game. Suzie Noyes added 16 points and three steals, while Amie Bickert added nine points off the bench.

Junior guard Brianne Slizofski (Collegeville, PA/Pius X) finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for Washington, while senior guard Elise Conway (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. Wojtusik scored a career-high nine points for the Shorewomen.

Lebanon Valley shot 50% from the field in the game to 37% for Washington. The Flying Dutchmen also forced 25 Washington turnovers, while committing 13. The Shorewomen did enjoy a 35-29 advantage on the glass.

The Shorewomen return to action Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game at Franklin & Marshall.
