Jonnie Jenkins was named Washington College's Director of the Johnson Fitness Center and Campus Recreation in the summer of 2009. He is currently the head strength and conditioning coach for Washington College’s 17 varsity athletic teams. He also performs a wide range of duties as Fitness Center and Recreation Director. He currently oversees the Johnson Fitness Center and its wellness programming, the intramural and club sports departments as well as off campus recreation adventure trips. He works closely with several offices on campus, including Athletics, Student Affairs, and Health Services and serves as co-chair of Washington College's Wellness Committee. 

Jenkins is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a United States Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach (USAW), a speed and explosion specialist through the National Academy of Speed and Explosion (NASE), a Level 1 accredited TRX Suspension Training instructor, and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also a certified CPR, AED, and First Aide Instructor through the American Red Cross. 

During the summer of 2011, Jenkins received his M.S. in Exercise Science and Health promotion with a concentration in wellness and fitness from California University of Pennsylvania. Jenkins earned his M.A. in History from Washington College in 2009, while serving as the assistant men’s soccer coach from 2007 to 2009.  Jenkins earned his B.A. in history with a Secondary Education focus from Washington College in 2007. Jenkins was also a four-year letter winner in soccer for the Shoremen, earning Team Most Valuable Player honors as a junior and serving as a team captain as a senior. He currently holds both a National Youth Coaching License, and “D” Coaching License through the United States Soccer Federation.

Andrew Laux was named Washington College's Assistant Director of the Johnson Fitness Center and Campus Recreation in the spring of 2013. He is currently the assistant strength and conditioning coach for Washington College’s 17 varsity athletic teams. He also performs a wide range of duties as the Assistant Director of the JFC, organizing and managing fitness center student workers, intramurals, club sports, and recreational trips, as well as assisting in the management of the Johnson Fitness Center. Andrew also teaches as an adjunct professor in the Physical Education Department at Washington College

Laux is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a United States Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach (USAW), a Level 1 accredited TRX Suspension Training instructor, and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also CPR and AED Certified.

Laux is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Psychology from Washington College and was also a four-year letter winner in tennis for the Shoremen.

Juli Liebig was named an assistant coach for the Shorewomen lacrosse team in August 2011 and added duties as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the department in January 2012. Liebig, who attended nearby Queen Anne's County High School, was a star goalie at Longwood University.

A team captain as a senior, Liebig was named the National Lacrosse Conference's Goalie of the Year twice in her four years and was an all-conference first-team selection. She finished her senior season ranked first in her conference and 16th in all of Division I in save percentage (.470), 13th in all of Division I in total saves (158), and ninth in Division I in ground balls per game (3.17). She helped her team to back-to-back conference championships as a sophomore and junior and was presented with Longwood's Scholarly Athlete Award. She was also named to the 2011 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) University Division Women's Lacrosse First Team.

Liebig has gained valuable coaching experience while working with Merestead Sports Camps for the past four years and also took coaching classes at Longwood, where she was a member of the Exercise Science Association and the Historian of the Kinesiology fraternity Phi Epsilon Kappa. She earned a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from the school in 2011.

Liebig is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is currently a rehabilitation technician at Chesapeake Physical Therapy in Chestertown where she specializes in injury prevention, assisting patients in improvement in movement, stamina, and coordination.

While attending Queen Anne's County High School, Liebig was a two-time recipient of the Queen Anne's Master of All Sports, earned first-team All-Bayside Conference honors, and helped lead her team to an East Region Championship. She also participated in basketball, soccer, and swimming at Queen Anne's.
