Weaver Nationally-Ranked in Final ITA Singles Rankings

Weaver Also Regionally-Ranked in Doubles with McIntyre

SKILLMAN, N.J. -- The final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division III women's rankings for the 2013-14 academic year have been released and Washington College rising junior April Weaver (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) checks in at 49th in the nation and 14th in the Atlantic South region in singles and 14th in the region in doubles with classmate Marielle McIntyre (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom).

Weaver, an All-Centennial Conference first-team singles selection this spring, posted a 15-5 singles record this year, including a 12-4 mark at No. 1 in dual matches. She went 7-3 against conference opponents and 2-2 against regionally-ranked players this spring. 

Weaver and McIntyre went 12-4 at No. 1 doubles this season with an 8-2 record against Centennial Conference opponents. The duo earned All-Centennial Conference first-team honors for doubles.
