Two Shorewomen Tennis Players Qualify for Centennial Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Senior Amy Stevens (Street, Md./North Harford) and junior Emily Evans (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) of the Washington College women's tennis team have earned spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for spring sports. 

To be named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior; a starter or key reserve on her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. A key reserve is defined as a reserve who appeared in at least 50% of her team's contests and/or played in the Centennial Conference Tournament.

Stevens earned the honor for the second year in a row, while Evans was a first-time qualifier. Stevens is majoring in Environmental Studies, while Evans is majoring in Chemistry.
