#6 Shorewomen Finish Sixth Overall at NCAA Division III Championships
The sixth-ranked Washington College women's rowing team finished sixth overall with 17 total points at the 2014 NCAA Division III Championships, held Friday and Saturday on Eagle Creek Reservoir today in Indianapolis. The Shorewomen's I Eight won its repechage by less than a second and finished sixth in the grand final of its event. Washington's II Eight was second in its petite final to take sixth overall in its event.

Tomorrow's Occoquan Chase rowing regatta in Lorton, Va., has been canceled. The heavy rains in the Mid-Atlantic region this week have flooded the course on the Occoquan Reservoir with debris. The Washington College men's and women's rowing teams were scheduled to open their fall racing seasons at the regatta.

Shorewomen Beat Five MARC Rivals at Knecht Cup
Washington College's first varsity eight made a statement today, beating five boats from Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference rival schools to win the women's Division III varsity eight at the Knecht Cup in Cherry Hill, NJ. The Shorewomen's second varsity eight also competed at the regatta, finishing fifth in its heat.
