#13 Shorewomen Win Women's Division III Varsity Eight at Kerr Cup

First Varsity Eight Takes First, Second Varsity Eight Finishes Fourth

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The 13th-ranked Washington College women's rowing team took first and fourth in the women's Division III varsity eight at the Kerr Cup this afternoon in Philadelphia.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen's first varsity eight took the race by nearly 18 seconds, finishing with a first-place time of 7:41.21. The Shorewomen's second varsity eight was fourth in 8:09.48.
- The race was comprised exclusively of Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) crews. Franklin & Marshall's first varsity eight took second in 7:58.91, while the Diplomats' second varsity eight was fifth in 8:45.89. St. Mary's first varsity eight finished third in 8:07.03, while Cabrini's first varsity eight was sixth in 9:18.87.
