Shorewomen Rowing Makes Season Debut in National Top 15

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The four-time defending Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) champion Washington College women's rowing team has made its season debut in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/US Rowing Division III Top 15 this week. The Shorewomen come in as the nation's 11th-ranked team.

Washington opened its spring racing season in impressive fashion last Saturday. The Shorewomen's first varsity eight won the grand final of the DII/III Women's Varsity Eight at the Murphy Cup, while the second varsity eight won the petite final. The Shorewomen will host fellow MARC school St. Mary's (Md.) and Division I La Salle in their only home regatta of the season this Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
