BOSTON, MA -- The Washington College women's rowing team finished 11th of 33 boats in the women's collegiate four today at the Head of the Charles, the world's largest rowing regatta, in Boston, MA.
The Shorewomen completed the course in 20:45.70. Washington University-St. Louis won the race in 19:56.43, while Hamilton was second in 20:07.00, while Middlebury was third in 20:15.80.
Senior Kelsie Jensen (Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest) was the coxswain of the Shorewomen's four. Sophomore Valeria DiLisi (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) sat stroke, junior Kate Fiori (Boston, MA/Dana Hall School) was in the three seat, junior Brittany Krueger (Severna Park, MD/Severna Park) was in the two seat, and freshman Kelly Bird (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) was the bow.
The Shorewomen complete their fall season one week from today at the Head of the Schuylkill regatta in Philadelphia.
