GRAND LAKES, Colo. — Washington College senior attacker Katherine Vincent (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) has been named to the All-Metro Region second team by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). It is the first All-Region honor for Vincent, who was named to the All-Centennial Conference first team for the second consecutive year earlier this week.
Vincent set new school and conference records for free-position goals in a single season (33) and in a career (64) this spring. She scored a team-leading total of 58 goals overall this season and assisted on 17 others for a team-leading total of 75 points. She also led the team in draw controls with 51 and shots with 121 and was second in both assists and caused turnovers (16).
With two Centennial Conference teams set to play in the NCAA Division III Tournament, Vincent currently ranks second in the conference in goals and shots, third in points, and eighth in draw controls. In all of Division III, Vincent currently ranks second in free-position goals per game (1.94), 48th in free-position shooting percentage (.569), 49th in goals, 71st in points, 74th in goals per game (3.41), and 91st in points per game (4.41).
