Women's Basketball Season Preview
No team in the Centennial Conference has as much unfinished business to take care of as the Washington College women's basketball team. The Shorewomen tied their school record for wins in a season by going 16-9, went 5-0 in non-conference games, and won 11 conference games for the first time ever, but fell one win short of their first Centennial Conference Tournament berth since 1999 despite winning their final five games of the season by an average margin of victory of 18.4 points per game.

Basketball Teams Sweep Annual Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Awards
The Washington College men's and women's basketball teams have swept the male and female Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Awards. The Shoremen and Shorewomen were chosen among student-athletes and teams across the conference's 12 men's and 12 women's championship sports and will now be placed on the ballot for the NCAA National Sportsmanship Awards this summer.

Tait Honored with Maryland Top 100 Women Scholarship (with Video)
Washington College senior women's basketball and tennis player Meghan Tait was announced as the 2012 winner of The Daily Record's Maryland's Top 100 Women scholarship during an event at Baltimore's Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Monday, May 7th.
