Lebanon Valley’s Steffani Secola socked a two-out, two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to turn a 4-3 deficit into a 5-4 lead as the third-seeded Dutchmen downed seven seed Washington College, 5-4, on Friday evening at Kostrinsky Field in the winner’s bracket of the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament Ithaca Region on the campus of Ithaca College. Washington College snapped a 6-6 with five runs in the top half of the ninth inning to down Utica, 11-6, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament at Kostrinsky Field on the campus of Ithaca College. The Shorewomen, seeded seventh in the Ithaca Regional, win in their first-ever game in the NCAA Tournament and improve to 27-17 on the year, while the Pioneers, the two seed in the regional, fall to 33-13.
