ORIENTAL, N.C. — The Washington College sailing team finished 13th of 20 teams at SailPack Oriental Intercollegiate Regatta, hosted by N.C. State, this weekend.

How It Happened
- Haber Carlson skippered Washington to a 16th-place finish in A Division, sailing with crews Linsday Fullerton and Jessie Ngo for alternating two-race sets. Carlson and Fullerton were sixth in the sixth A Division race and ninth in the ninth A Division race.
- Washington placed ninth in B Division. Crew Haley Wilt sailed with a replacement skipper provided by N.C. State after Washington's B Division skipper became unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. Wilt and her skipper were ninth in B Division, placing second in the first B Division race and sixth in the fourth.

- Six races in each division sailed on Saturday. Another four races in each division sailed on Sunday.
