Darrell Wilson Named Assistant Tennis Coach

CHESTERTOWN, Md. -- Washington College head men's and women's tennis coach David Donn has announced the hiring of Darrell Wilson as an assistant coach. A native of Meriden, Kan., Wilson played three years of collegiate tennis at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.

Wilson earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Southwestern in 2010 and went on to earn his Master's in the same field two years later. While working on his Master's, Wilson served as a volunteer coach for Southwestern's tennis and track teams. He also served as a Sports Information intern at the school as a senior and as the Assistant Sports Information Director the year following his greaduation.

Wilson has also worked at a variety of tennis camps, including the Army Tennis Camp at the United States Military Academy, the Nike Tennis Camp in Lawrenceville, N.J., and Southwestern's Summer Tennis Camp. He served as Co-Director of the Army Tennis Camp during the summer of 2013.
