Shoremen Soccer Receives NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, KS -- The Washington College men's soccer team has received a 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award. For a team to be considered for the award, it must have a composite team grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all team members who appear on the official NCAA, NAIA or junior college roster forms for the fall season.

The award is based on the team's fall 2010 roster and the grades of every player on the roster from the previous year. The Shoremen posted a team grade-point average of 3.054 during the 2009-10 academic year.
