The Shoremen, who also won their C/D semifinal yesterday, raced head-to-head exclusively against crews from Division I schools during their four races at the regatta.

    Tomorrow's Occoquan Chase rowing regatta in Lorton, Va., has been canceled. The heavy rains in the Mid-Atlantic region this week have flooded the course on the Occoquan Reservoir with debris. The Washington College men's and women's rowing teams were scheduled to open their fall racing seasons at the regatta.

    The Washington College men's rowing team put in a strong performance at today's Murphy Cup regatta in Philadelphia. The Shoremen qualified for the finals of the varsity four and novice eight and made the petite final of the varsity eight.
