Shoremen Rowers Turn in Best Finish in Collegiate Four at Head of Charles since 2008

Collegiate Four Finishes 25th, Club Four 35th

BOSTON, Mass. — The Washington College men's rowing team had two fours compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Mass., this weekend to close out the Shoremen's fall season. The Shoremen's entry in the collegiate four turned in the team's best finish in that event in nine years.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen's entry in the club four finished 35th of 52 crews on Saturday in 18:24.477. Riverside Rowing Club won the race in 16:22.856, Dartmouth was second in 16:32.740, and Boston University was third in 16:37.862. 
- On Sunday, the Shoremen's collegiate four finished 25th of 40 crews in 17:23.569 - their best finish in that event since the 2008 entry placed 11th. North Carolina won the race in 16:04.425, followed by Vermont in second in 16:25.343 and Virginia in third in 16:29.373.
