Corey Bulken arrived at Washington College in the summer of 2011 after a senior season at Le Moyne College during which he led Division II in face-off percentage, winning 69.2% of his draws, and was named the USILA Division II Specialty Player of the Year. A two-time All-American, he earned first team honors as a senior and second-team honors as a junior. He was also named to the All-Northeast 10 Conference first team following both of those seasons. He was named Le Moyne's Male Athlete of the Year and his team's Most Valuable Player for 2011, led his team in face-off percentage three consecutive years and in ground balls two consecutive years, and played in three consecutive NCAA Division II National Championship games.
During his collegiate lacrosse career, Bulken also worked as a counselor and coach at several lacrosse camps in central New York and completed an internship with Le Moyne's sports information department. He was chosen to attend the 2011 NCAA Career in Sports Forum and earned a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Le Moyne in 2011.
