Chris Miller was named the senior assistant coach and offensive coordinator for the Washington College men's lacrosse team in July 2011 and was promoted to associate head coach and offensive coordinator in November 2014. Under his tutelage, the Shoremen's offense increased from 7.56 goals per game prior to his arrival to 10.00 in 2012 to 11.67 in 2013 to 12.90 in 2014.
Miller and head coach Jeff Shirk previously coached together at Virginia Military Institute (VMI), where Miller served as an assistant coach under Shirk during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Miller came to Washington College from Sacred Heart University, where he was the offensive coach and recruiting coordinator during the 2011 season.
Miller, who also had a brieft stint as an assistant coach at Washington and Lee University, is no stranger to the Delmarva region. Miller's first coaching experience came at his alma mater, Wesley College, in Dover, DE. He spent three years as an assistant coach for the Wolverines after a four-year playing career. A three-time All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference first-team selectionm Miller scored 144 career points at Wesley. He was named to the All-ECAC South second team in 2003 and his team's offensive Most Valuable Player in 2004. As a senior, he served as a team captain.
Miller earned a B.S. in Physical Education from Wesley in 2005.
