LANCASTER, Pa. — A program-record 10 student-athletes from the Washington College men's lacrosse team have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for spring sports. Among those 10 is sophomore Kevin Wilson (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial), who was also named Academic All-Centennial based on his combination of qualifying for the Academic Honor Roll and his selection as an All-Centennial Conference honorable mention. In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
Juniors Tanner Barbieri (Wayne, N.J./St. Peter's Prep), Tim Hickey (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity), and Graham Hulsey (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) qualified for the Academic Honor Roll for men's lacrosse for the second year in a row, while junior Skyler Clark (Clinton, Conn./The Gunnery) qualified in his first year of collegiate lacrosse after previously qualifying twice in his other sport, soccer.
Wilson was one of six Shoremen sophomores to qualify in their first year of eligibility for the Academic Honor Roll, joining Nick Boyles (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's), Brady O'Neill (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett), David Pitts (Burtonsville, Md./Georgetown Prep), Trey Ritter (Norfolk, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate School), and Adam Roth (Baltimore, Md./Mount St. Joseph).
Barbieri and O'Neill are Economics majors, while Boyles and Ritter are Business Management majors and Pitts is a Biology major. The other five qualifiers are all double majors. Hickey and Wilson are majoring in both Economics and Business Management. Clark is majoring in Biology and Chemistry, Hulsey is majoring in Economics and Business Management, and Roth is majoring in Physics and Computer Science.
