SALISBURY, Md. — Third-ranked host Salisbury University improved to 3-1 on the season with a 3-0 shutout of visiting Washington College in a non-conference field hockey game this evening in Salisbury.

How It Happened
- The Sea Gulls took a 1-0 lead with 25:03 left in the first period on a penalty-stroke goal by Arielle Johnston.
- Salisbury's second goal came with 29:21 to go in the second. Rachel Domanico finished in traffic after receiving an assist from Emily Lemanski.
- Jenna Partilla scored the Sea Gulls' third goal on a rebound off the post with 15:56 remaining.  

For the Shorewomen (2-3)
- Scorers: none
- Goalkeeper: Morgan Domanico (11 saves, 3 goals allowed, 70:00)
- Katie Arnold and Maggie Cancelmo each had a defensive save for the Shorewomen.

For Salisbury (3-1)
- Scorers: Johnston (goal), Domanico (goal), Partilla (goal), Lemanski (assist)
- Goalkeeper: Tressie Windsor (1 save, 0 goals allowed, 70:00)
- The Sea Gulls had a 24-3 advantage in shots and a 12-4 advantage in penalty corners in the game.
