Salisbury Gets Past Shoremen, 87-85, in OT
Kohlrus Scores 34 Points in Loss

Devin Jones hit the game-winning jumper with 1.9 seconds left in the extra session to give host Salisbury an 87-85 overtime win over visiting Washington College in a non-conference men's basketball game tonight in Salisbury, MD. Greg Palmer scored 33 points in the win for the Sea Gulls, who improved to 4-7 with the win, while senior guard Tim Kohlrus (Fairfax, VA/W.T. Woodson) poured in 34 points in the loss for the Shoremen, who fell to 4-4.

Shoremen Compete at Orange Bowl Classic
Longworth Takes 6th in 50 Backstroke
The Washington College men's swim team finished fifth of five teams at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic this morning in Key Largo, FL. The Shoremen were the only non-Division I team competing in the men's portion of the event. Michigan won the meet, followed by Duke in second, George Mason in third, and Stony Brook in fourth. The event was held outdoors in the 25-meter pool at the Jacobs Aquatic Center.

Shorewomen 5th at Orange Bowl Classic
Three Shorewomen Record Top-Five Finishes
The Washington College women's swim team finished fifth of seven teams at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic this morning in Key Largo, FL. All four teams the Shorewomen finished behind are Division I programs. Duke won the meet, followed by Rutgers in second, George Mason in third, and Stony Brook in fourth. St. Benedict was sixth, which Western Connecticut State finished seventh. The event was held outdoors in the 25-meter pool at the Jacobs Aquatic Center.
