February 8, 2010 - Schedule Update
Wednesday Swim Meet Moved Up to Tuesday;
Monday Events Still Scheduled
The home swim meet against Swarthmore originally scheduled for this Wednesday has been moved up to Tuesday. The official listed start time is still 6:30, but the meet may start as early as 6:00 if possible.In spite of the college being closed today, the Washington College men's basketball team will still host Dickinson College at 7:00 p.m. The Washington College swim teams are still scheduled to swim at McDaniel at 5:30 p.m. as well, though the meet may start at 5:00 p.m. or earlier, if possible.

Swim Teams Receive Scholar All-American Status
Both Squads Posted GPA's Above 3.0 in Fall

Both Washington College swim teams have been awarded Team Scholar All-American status for the Fall 2009 semester by the College Swimming Coaches Association. To qualify for the award, the team must finish with a team grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the fall semester.

O'Donnell Selected for
WBCA Coaching Workshop

Washington College senior guard Jane O'Donnell (Cape May Court House, NJ/.Wildwood Catholic) has been chosen to participate in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) "So You Want To Be A Coach" workshop. Selected women's basketball student-athletes from Divisions I, II, and III of the NCAA will take part in the workshop, to be held April 2-4 during the WBCA National Convention in San Antonio.
